"Zusammenkunft ist ein Anfang. Zusammenhalt ist ein Fortschritt. Zusammenarbeit ist der Erfolg." (Henry Ford)
Seminare, Arbeitskreise & Delegationsreisen
Aufrechterhaltung und Ausbau der Technologieführerschaft
PROPLAS was pleased to greet the students fom Horb to take part in a Seminar in Dornstetten. It was a very informative interesting day on which all the participants learnt alot plenty about industrial computed tomography, initial sampling and target-actual comparison.
Measuring medical devices using industrial CT safe and reliable.
This is the topic of the report in the April 2016 edition of the magazine "Plastics - materials, processing, applications". Requirements for manufacturers of medical devices, in particular so-called drug delivery devices, with regard to a safe and reliable article inspection are immense. The French company Nemera has its headquarters in La Verpillière and a plant in Germany, Neuenburg am Rhein using the possibilities of industrial computed tomography (CT). The required tests have been carried out for a number of years in cooperation with PROPLAS. Click here to read the German report. // Fakuma 2015 // Competence-Meeting in Friedrichshafen
It was the 24th time that the "Who-is-who" in the plastics branch met in the world centre of plastic research – für PROPLAS the Fakuma was a great success! Read more
At the FAKUMA, live measurement at Fakuma 2015 for one of our customers from the automotive sector - PROPLAS 2015 was able to demonstrate again how fast CT measurements can provide highly accurate results. At the InnoNet booth we were able to show the nanotome m in action with one of our two excellence partners - General Electric - and in action on the ZEISS stand the appliance of our second Excellence partner "Metrotome 800". Plenty of time for intensive discussions with our regular customers as well as with many new and interesting partners running parallel with the measuring work. Jam packed halls proved that the plastics industry is increasing, almost daily. More than one-third of the nearly 50,000 trade visitors were of international origin. The extreme dynamics also reflect on the cast of the joint stand of the INNONET plastic: new companies in the exhibition complement the mix of skills of the greatest South German corporate network in the plastics industry. For example, the SCHMID Technology Systems GmbH, a division of automation and intralogistics founded as a subsidiary of SCHMID group is new INNONET entrepreneurs network.

The members of the plastics network INNONET Foboha GmbH, a mold making company from Haslach Germany, gathered on 9 December 2015. Every year, the plastic network INNONET, reviews the year and provides an outlook for the future and introduces upcoming projects or collaborations and discuss them.
The project in the foreground this year was the newly opened Assembly Plastics InnoCentre, which is a showroom with a focus on bio-based plastics. The plastics based in Horb am Neckar InnoCentre, Germany should be the start of an interactive hub and point of contact for all companies in the plastics industry. The showroom, which was created in the former barracks on the Hohenberg, will generate added value for the members and help them to be more visible on the European market.
The activities of the network can be seen also in the acquisition of members: INNONET welcomed 15 new members in 2015 including the Institute of plastics engineering (ICT) of the University of Stuttgart and the moulding Expo / Stuttgart Exhibition Centre
